Article 1: Rare Havanese Toy Dog is man's "bueno amigo."
Even though Jack Petty and his wife Dee Dee have raised horses and dogs for years, Jack Had no peticular affection for animals until he got scooter. The little brown and tan Havanese Rare breed dog caputred his heart almost a year-and-a-half ago when his wife bought him from a woman in Garden Grove.
Since they were ill-advised to neuter Scooter soon after they got him, he has not been elligible to compeate inAmerican Kennel Club(AKC) shows, much to Jack's regret. He did, however recently win a fist prize for "most authentic" Havanese in a club show held at Murrieta Elementry School Park in Murrieta on Halloween.
Decked out in a serape with beads, holster and guns, leater boots and somberro, desgined by Petty housekeeper Patty Palmer. Scooter was judged the best representative of his Spanish Herritage in a recent competition.
